Sources
We rely on primary sources: each program's official website and FAQ, government agencies (such as VA.gov and state agencies) and direct contact with programs where possible. We link to these sources in every guide.
Verification and updates
- Every guide shows a "last verified" date
- We review our most-visited program pages monthly and all others at least quarterly
- When a program pauses or changes its rules, we update the page as soon as we confirm it
Independence
We are not paid by the programs we list, and no program can pay to be included or ranked higher. See our disclosure for how the site is funded.
